Business of the Month

About Business of the Month: Businesses are decided at the discretion of the mayor, village board, and staff, based on a variety of factors including community involvement, reputation, recommendations and the offering of quality products and services to the Glen Carbon community.

Congratulations to our most recent 2022 Village BUSINESSES OF THE MONTH!

Goodwill Industries, located in Glen Carbon, Illinois at 210 Junction Drive, is a long-standing nonprofit chain with a wide-range of pre-owned clothing, housewares and more. The Goodwill enterprise is a network of 155 community-based, autonomous organizations in the U.S. and Canada as well as 12 countries outside the United States.

Meeting the needs of the community since 1998, Goodwill in Glen Carbon designs its own programs and services to accommodate the local region. The overall mission of Goodwill is to “enhance people’s dignity and quality of life by strengthening their communities, eliminating their barriers to opportunity, and helping them reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.”

In January of 2023, the Goodwill Glen Carbon store will be receiving a full remodel.
