The staff of the Finance Department is dedicated to providing the residents of Glen Carbon the highest level of service and responsibility as the financial stewards of our Village.

Utility Payment Options

The Village of Glen Carbon has several options when making your water/sewer/trash payments. Payments are accepted Monday-Friday (except holidays) from 7:30 am – 4 pm at the Village Clerk’s Office, 151 N. Main Street. There is a night-drop in the parking lot in front of Village Hall for payments made after hours and on weekends.


The Village can direct debit your account on the due date (or the first business day following if your due date falls on a weekend or holiday) through an ACH payment. This service is free to all residents. This worry-free payment option eliminates late fees.

Effective 1/1/2023 the convenience fee will be based on the payment type (Credit/Debit $1.85 plus .60% of the transaction amount, One-time Electronic Check $2.75, Recurring Electronic Check $2.25). See link below.
